Fort Garry Lectures conference

We’re excited to announce the return of the Fort Garry Lecture, hosted by the University of Manitoba History Graduate Students Association (UMHGSA)!

Join us on May 2nd, 2025, to hear presentations from twelve history students covering a range of topics—from the Royal Proclamation to the Women’s Health Movement and a little of everything in between! We have undergrad students, graduate students, and even some faculty presentations!

We’ll also have lunch from Daily Bread Café and coffee breaks in the morning and the afternoon. There is no fee to attend, but to ensure that we have enough food for everyone, please register through the form below.
