Thriving and Surviving in Graduate School Workshop

Are you interested in learning more life in graduate school as a history student? Whether you’re new to the program, already part way through, or a prospective student considering applying, we invite you to join the History Graduate Students’ Association (HGSA) for a 3.5 hour crash course on surviving and thriving in graduate school. This program has been developed in conjunction with University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg faculty and is held twice per semester.

We will cover topics such as budgeting and funding, CVs and job opportunities, program requirements (specific to the history JMP), time management, and mental health and self care.

Date: Wednesday September 21st, 2022
Time: 2:30pm-6:00pm (with time afterwards for questions if needed!)
Location: Graduate Students Association Lounge (217 University Centre, University of Manitoba Fort Garry Campus)
