Conference Details: The History Graduate Students’ Association at the University of Manitoba invites submissions for the 2026 Fort Garry Lectures, a graduate student conference to be held May 1-2, 2026, in Winnipeg, MB.

This year’s theme, History +, encourages scholars to explore how historical research intersects with other fields, methods, and ways of knowing. We welcome papers that expand the boundaries of historical inquiry—whether through environmental studies, law, education, digital humanities, anthropology, sociology, literary studies, Indigenous studies, and beyond.

Graduate students, undergraduate students, and emerging scholars from any discipline, institution, or field of study are invited to submit a 250-word abstract, 3-5 keywords, and a short bio.

Submissions close March 15, 2026.
